Who I want to meet
NOT the one who would want to treat me like a princess,
but the one who can treat me as a woman of worth.
NOT the one who would want me to stay in his side,
but the one who’ll let go of me and will find me when I am lost.
NOT the one who would always tell me that he loves me,
but the one who is so afraid to hurt me.
NOT the one who would tell me in the crowd
“you’re the girl I’ve been waiting for!”,
but the one who would just gently whisper to my ear and say,
“you’re the answer to my prayer.”
